Superintendent
Dr. Rachel Savage
Dr. Rachel Savage joined Moline-Coal Valley as Superintendent of Schools in July of 2019. She has 27 years of experience in the field of education.
She has served as Superintendent, High School Administrator, Elementary and Middle School Principal, and High School teacher. She has also served as an Adjunct Professor for the University of Dubuque and Northeast Iowa Community College. Prior to joining Moline-Coal Valley, she served as Head Principal for the Waterloo Community Schools in Waterloo, Iowa. She holds a Doctoral degree in K-12 Organizational Leadership, a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and another in Educational Administration.
Dr. Savage is married to Dr. Eric Savage, a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Aviation and Flight for Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She has a daughter, Gabriella, and a son, Roger.

~Master's degree in Educational Administration in 2008; Master's degree in Education in 2000, both from Loras College
~Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish from Loras College in 1995
